Door nerds, specified properly
The timber, the tolerances, and the trimming limits. Everything needed to hang it right.
Manifesto
Most people don't think about doors until the saw cuts into hollow cardboard, the latch rattles in a draft, or the carpenter shakes his head. We obsess over the details that matter: dense acoustic cores, solid timber lippings, and the exact three millimeters of clearance that keeps a door from binding. Real frames are rarely plumb; we do the geometry upfront so your doors close with a clean, reassuring thud.
01
Measured, not guessed
Enter your opening in mm or feet and inches. We deduct 6mm width and 8mm height clearance, then check every edge against its lipping allowance.
02
Honest trim advice
Green means direct fit. Amber means your installer should look first. Red means a fire door we won't let you cut — we quote made-to-measure instead.
03
One van, flat fee
Flat £49 delivery per doork depot, free on orders over £500. We suggest matching doors from one depot so everything arrives together.
